Escapades of a PSU Executive - The foaming river.

Escapades of a PSU Executive – VII This is an imaginary series of the experiences of an idiotic PSU executive, working in a ‘Global fortune 500’ company. Please note that any resemblance to any person living or dead is purely coincidental. The Idiot was born mediocre. Teliya Oil rightly considers the Idiot as a very mediocre person. The Idiot has reconciled himself with that situation. This small incident will prove why the Idiot can never break the barrier of “VG” and reach the “OS” rating in his EMPS or APA. The foaming river. This incident happened when the Idiot was posted at Mohanbari Airport. Mohanbari was the gateway to Doom Dooma AFS, Passighat AFS and Along AFS. Any senior officer of the aviation department who had to visit these locations first came to Mohanbari AFS from where the arrangements were done for visiting these upcountry locations, by the Idiot. Please note that any resemblance to any person living or dead is purely coincidental. This story does not have any form, structure or plot. It is a medley of emotions and remembrances of days long past in Teliya Oil. An emergency meeting was held in the State Office (Higher office) where Mogambo’s program was planned and debated and finalized. The Idiot’s role was to launch a sales promotion scheme in one of the prime Retail Outlets of Guwahati during the visit of Mogambo. After a lot of discussions, the basic framework of the Sales Promotion Scheme was finalized. The scheme, in short, will be like...

Please note that any resemblance to any person living or dead is purely coincidental. Love in the times of Kidnapping. On 12 August 1998, there was an attack by a militant organization on an important storage dump of Teliya Oil in Nagaon district of Assam. The incident was a landmark event because it made every officer of Teliya Oil working in NE fearful. They started feeling increasingly vulnerable. The Idiot was posted in Mohanbari Aviation Fuel Station – where he was station in-charge. The situation at that time was extremely sensitive. The frequent safety and security advisories and phone calls that he got from his Head Quarters disturbed him a lot. He never faced any problem in his day to day life but nevertheless, the fear remained at the back of the mind. One day, the district police chief rang him and told ...
